International Women’s Day Concert Extravaganza

Award-winning female singers are centerstage for our 2022 International Women’s Day (IWD) concert celebrating this year’s IWD theme, “Break the Bias.” The concert is presented by Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and Oak Park’s Bellissima Opera, an initiative of Working In Concert.
Headlining the event are sopranos Michelle Areyzaga, Jonita Lattimore and Christine Steyer, and contralto Corinne Wallace-Crane. They will be accompanied by collaborative pianists Dana Brown and Jennifer McCabe.
Local composers represented on the concert are Lita Grier, Lena J. McLin, Patrice Michaels, and Elizabeth Rudolph.
